> The annual project of the second academic year investigated the possibility of re-opening the Rio in Mantova, along the lines of the hypotheses put forward for the Navigli in Milan.
The various macro-projects were composed of three working groups, each of which had assigned, between Piazza Felice Cavallotti and Giulio Romano's Pescherie, our particular project location.
The project action involved Giulio Romano's Beccherie and Pescherie system. The strong interaction with the historical pre-existence has polarized the choices and intentions.
The functional program required was that of the public place and in particular that of the temporary market.
The typology of the portico has been reinterpreted in a contemporary key, taking inspiration from the peristyle of David Chipperfield's James-Simon-Galerie in Berlin.
> The various working groups involved, in addition to being called upon to compose the architectural project, were also in charge of the site survey of the project site through faithful technical drawings.
On this occasion, the photogrammetry technique was used for the first time with subsequent point cloud calculation in Agisoft Metashape.
The CAD restitution then made it possible to understand and interact in the best possible way with the project site.
