> This small academic investigation required the construction of an ideal "acting space" of an assigned character.
Ettore Sottsass, an influential figure in the Italian twentieth century design and figurative arts scene, was a very interesting inspiration and challenge. Between Arte Povera and the visual maximalism of the post-modern period, combining these different multifaceted qualities required research, attempts and wide-ranging conceptual applications.
The investigation analyzed the concepts in depth, from the dawn of his artistic production to the experience in the Memphis group of the eighties. The scenography created these two apparently opposite worlds, recalling scenographic experiences such as those of Robert Wilson, evocative and emotional.
