> The ERASMUS experience in Sweden has helped to increase knowledge and acquire new knowledge.
Among these, is reported here the one inside the UNESCO Office of the Hanseatic city of Visby.
The work team had the task of updating some definition terms of protection of the UNESCO Site, precisely researching the different factors useful for establishing a Buffer Zone for the protection of the historic city.
The walls of Visby today constitute the definition of the World Heritage Site: the Buffer Zone is a useful tool to define the lines of action and protection of the site in the immediate surrounding areas.
The analysis carried out for the establishment of this tool saw the investigation of various consolidated experiences also in Italian cities, such as Bergamo and Peshiera del Garda.
